(More customer reviews)this sata- DVD multi recorder works great. have used it to reload windows xp vista and 7 without flaw very fast reading of disks during install. also have used it to burn iso's of windows 7 enterprise onto disk for testing purposes . works great. no complaints. I have worked with this sata drive for a month now burning and loading , works without a flaw.. quicker load times than my pioneer ide drive, but sata interface is alot faster.. construction build is on par to pioneer.. as far as being noisy i have not noticed this as other have stated. only being the clunk when it closes , but there is no gasket on the inner lip of the drwaer as other drives, really does not make a difference in my eyes...
