Yes, there is extra room around my iPad inside, but I wanted that for when my Vizu Minisuit arrives. I will use this case for extra protection lying around the house, and it's perfect for tucking in a big purse or tote. The zip pocket will hold all my accessories, even my Sony Bluetooth stereo headphones. The best thing is the value for the price. Unless you are looking for a very snug fit, you will not be disappointed.
