(More customer reviews)I've had this netbook skin on my computer for a few months now and thought that I'd offer a review on it.
PROS:
-Nice way to distinguish my netbook.
-I normally like looking at it and others like looking at it too (I get compliments on it and forget that it's on my computer until someone else points it out).
-No trail of fingerprints.
CONS:
-Difficult to apply skin to netbook without having air bubbles (mine has an air bubble).
-Skin is NOT as it appears! The picture shows these brown tones in contrast with oranges and greens. The actual skin has a green shade where the sandy/light/tan-brown background is supposed to be and the other colors don't show the same defined contrast. The colors are somewhat distorted and after rediscovering the picture of this product I was reminded of why I initially liked the skin and why I should write a review (since the real thing is not like the picture).
-Edges are starting to [very] slightly lift and collect dirt. I imagine it wasn't meant to stick forever.
So when buying, just keep those things in mind and you will probably have realistic expectations of what you're getting. I am happy with it; it's just not what's in the picture.Sidenote: ON THE SELLER
-Two of these skins were ordered and only one was mailed. I contacted the seller and they promptly gave a refund. Good on taking care of the error!
