(More customer reviews)After searching for and evaluating several solutions for carrying my Kindle 2, I took a chance on this product. While not perfect, it fits my needs and I am very happy with my choice.
It seems sturdy enough for most situations but might not handle being jammed into an overhead with heavy luggage-I'll probably hold onto it in that case! It does, however, provide padding for bumps and against scratches, an inside velcro strap to hold the Kindle-somewhat loosely (it IS really for netbooks) but enough to prevent it from falling out when opened, and a mesh pocket for accessories. The small handle is a plus that quite a few of the standard Kindle cases lacked which I find handy when carrying multiple cases, purse, etc.
Big enough for the Kindle, a small booklight and charger, this item fits my travel needs perfectly, is available in a number of colors and is less than 1/2 the price of the carriers advertised for the Kindle. Who could resist??
