(More customer reviews)Great card ..replaced my 4870. It runs much quieter and cooler than previous models. However depending on your case configuration you couuld run into potential heat issues especially if oyu like to over clock. Just make sure you have sensible ventilation, and the CCC has sutable fan speed adjustments as well. I used the over clocking tool in CCC to set the fan at 35% and it currently idles at 38-40C and mid 60's -70C while playing ..so not really bad but we'll see how it goes during the summer when my house is hot.
Great to finally be able to play my games in DX11 also this will keep me good for a long while.
Fast card and great FPS over my old one. I currently am playing all my games at highest settings. Was easy to install as well but be prepared with room in your case if you plan to xfire. This card is BIG.
I have yet to flash the BIOS to 6970 speeds but even with out that this card blows every current game away! Though due to this feature expect this card to be popular over the 6970 and more viable than the GTX 580, especially in xfire
On a side note..when I upgraded the Catylst control center for some reason the overclocking tab kept the settings from my old card ...which set the clock down to 4870 speeds also this caused the fan to max out and the temps went waaaay up. Fixed it just by disabling the overclocking and re enabling. Clocks and everything were fine after that.
