(More customer reviews)I'm always thrilled when I get new gadgets, and my netbook certainly had me tickled pink. It didn't quite fit in my purse, so off I went looking for bags. I settled first for a Targus, which, while good, caught every single bit of cat fur in my house, so it ended up looking like a yeti. I spotted this Miim bag and decided to go for it - it certainly is cat fur resistant with its smooth material.
There are a few reasons why I really like this netbook bag. The first is that it's a vertical messenger, which I like so I'm not lugging around a messenger that just looks gigantic - that also gives it a more fashionable bag like appeal, as opposed to it being a vanilla messenger bag. The bright orange interior also gives it a bit of unexpected flare, and contrasts nicely with the rich chocolate brown.
Now on to the inside - this thing has so many bloody pockets and storage areas that I need to buy a whole new set of gadgets just to fill it up. The flap has two pockets, both zippered, one on the front and one on the back. Both sides of the bag have little compartments that could be pen holders, along with another on the back of the bag.
Inside, you're immediately greeted with another zipper compartment on the outside of the main storage compartment. Under that, still on the front under the flap, is a section that has card holders and room for cosmetics, little gadgets, whatever you'd like.
Finally we have the main compartment - there's a padded area with a velcro strap that keeps the netbook nice and snug. I have a HP Mini 1000 10.1 inch screen, and it fit this great. Then there's another compartment that'll fit your books, papers, kindle, whatever you need.
There's also a velcro closed compartment on the inside of the main area - so I'm pretty sure I just lost track of how many pockets this thing has. But if you're looking for a fashionable storage choice for your netbook, you cannot beat this model. It rocks!
