(More customer reviews)I purchased this battery in 2009. The battery failed in approx. a year. Contacted the seller and they sent me a generic e-mail that made you feel that this was not uncommon for this product. They still after several emails will not confirm the warranty period and at this point will not even respond.
In any case the battery is a different color and extremly large but not lasting more than a year does not speak well for the product or the seller.
The battery does power the laptop longer than the 6-cell but not as long as they claim.
I do not like leaving negative reviews but if it saves others from spending money on a poor product, so be it.
